Website Terms of Use

Last updated October 2026.

Scope of these terms

These terms govern your use of this website, including its public intake, scheduling, and contact forms. They do not govern bookkeeping, tax, or other professional services. Those services are governed solely by a separate engagement letter signed by you and Cardinal Accounting LLC.

No professional relationship

Using this website, submitting an intake or message, or booking a consultation does not create an accountant–client, CPA–client, fiduciary, attorney–client, tax-advisor, or other professional relationship. A relationship begins only when Cardinal accepts the engagement in writing through a signed engagement letter.

General information only

Website content is general information, not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice for your situation, and may not reflect current law. Do not act on it without professional advice based on your facts.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee any outcome, tax savings, refund, financing result, or deadline through use of this website. We do not verify information you submit. The website is provided "as is," and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

Pricing

Prices shown on this website are starting, target, or reference pricing only. Plan suggestions after intake are preliminary. Final services, scope, and fees are confirmed in a proposal or engagement letter after review.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and timely information. Do not submit Social Security numbers, EINs, bank or card details, passwords, tax returns, payroll reports, or other sensitive documents through the public website.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, including submitting false or automated requests, attempting to access non-public areas or other people's information, or interfering with its operation.

Intellectual property

Website content, design, and branding belong to Cardinal Accounting LLC or its licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial reference but may not copy or reuse it commercially without permission.

Third-party services

Links to or integrations with third-party services are provided for convenience. Cardinal is not responsible for their content, terms, or security; please review their policies.

Credentials

CPA services are performed by or under the supervision of Cardinal's licensed CPA partner. Not every team member is a CPA.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised version with a new date. Questions: contact@cardinalacc.com.
