Secure communications & data handling

Last updated October 2026.

Website forms and ordinary email

Our public forms and ordinary email are for general business and contact information only. Please do not send any of the following through them:

  • Social Security numbers or EINs
  • Tax returns, payroll reports, or other tax and financial records
  • Bank account or card details
  • Passwords or login credentials
  • Copies of IDs or other sensitive documents

Sharing sensitive information once engaged

After you engage Cardinal, we will direct you to an approved secure method for sharing sensitive information. Our secure client portal is still being set up; until it is available, we will tell you the secure method to use during onboarding.

Accounting software access

We will never ask for your accounting software password through a public form. Access is granted through the platform's own user invitation or authorization process, or another secure onboarding method.

If you sent something sensitive by mistake

If you accidentally send sensitive information to contact@ or appointments@cardinalacc.com, please let us know promptly at contact@cardinalacc.com so our staff can handle it under our internal procedures.
